My name is Neema Adolwa, and I currently live in the state of Maryland. I'm a part of my high school's Ecology program, and outside of school, I enjoy participating in clubs focused on the environment. One of the reasons I was drawn to becoming a Water Challenge Ambassador is that I have already done work similar to NOAA's Youth Ambassador program, and I wanted to challenge myself to reach more people and conduct actual research. I find it amazing that I will have the opportunity to collect water samples from my local bodies of water and use that to raise awareness. Additionally, I hope to collaborate with other youth to make a greater impact and foster positive change in our community.
